So far this is my favorite hair styling product I’ve ever used! I have medium-length hair with a fade on the sides and this product is perfect for creating a textured and long-lasting hairstyle. I have tried all different types of products at various price points: American Crew, Baxter, Kevin Murphy, Morris Motley etc. This one is my favorite because it lasts all day and smells (almost) as good as the Kevin Murphy products. Very impressed with the price too — this is a LOT of product in the jar.

Wow perfect stuff here!! If you find it dry then you probably got some of the old formula containing patchouli and a couple other oils which they omitted in the reform. Newer batch seems to have more moisture to it; stays creamy upon breakdown in palms. Older batch Was drier and i had same problem as LL. Serious flaking..this happened twice, and it was when i handled this after splashing aftershave on. So i’m guessing it was the leftover alcohol residue on my hands that caused the paste to flake up. If you liked how the older batch performed and you own the new, use less and apply in smaller amounts and end result should be right. Personally if anything, i got more poof from the old batch, as it’s dryness gave me a unique lift!

This is a godsend. I’ve been looking for a hair product to style my hair. My hair is thick and curly. Before this product I was lost. After using this product for the first time, I threw everything else away.
The product itself comes in a sleek modern package. Nice chrome accent on the top.
Now to the actual clay. When you open the tin you’re greeted with an solid grey putty. The putty is playful though. It is thick. But playful. You really need to press your finger down hard into the clay to get a good scoop. The good news is you don’t need much. I use about a dime-size amount for my entire head and it works likes a charm.
After you have the dime-size amount in your hand you have to rub your hands together really hard to get it so break-apart and eventually spread/dissolve. Once it’s all gone and you’re left with a slight glaze on your hands, apply to your hair.
This product allows you style your hair up, down, left, right, where-ever and it stays there. It’s honestly like pliable cement that doesn’t leave your hair feeling like a rock.
After using this in my hair I could run my fingers through my hair without getting a greasy feeling either. This stuff lasts all days and washes out in the shower.
Since you need so little it lasts a long time. One tin lasts me about 2 months with everyday use.
